About Our Program
Donate-A-Ride is a fundraising program designed to raise money for transit tickets for people in crisis who need short-term assistance. For these individuals, opportunities do no always arrive at their doorstep. Without transportation, they can not get to the educational, employment, medical or social services they require to improve their lives. Organizations requesting assistance for their clients through Donate-A-Ride are extremely appreciative of the transit tickets they get through our program.
Donate-A-Ride wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of its sponsors and donors. I invite your organization to take part in helping our disadvantaged citizens!

1. Shelter Programs
Provides shelter and support for clients in crisis. Transit tickets are used for trips to schools, work, medical or legal appointments, or to attend counselling programs.
2. Newcomer Services
These agencies provide support to immigrants new to Canada, to assist them to become more integrated into the community. Transit tickets are used for trips to education, information, support and counselling programs.
3. Health & Disability Support Services
These agencies provide support to clients with physical and/or mental disabilities. Transit tickets are used to get to medical and other appointments, buy groceries, or attend support programs.
4. Individual & Family Support Services
These agencies provide support to no income or low income clients. Transit tickets are used to travel to job interviews, medical appointments, training and educational programs, support programs or buy groceries.
